An RSS feed briefing agent for Claude Code, Codex and Cursor
Daily Briefing returns the newest items from RSS and Atom feeds, without duplicates, quoting sentences word for word from each item's article. No price is set for this version yet.
Not offered in ContextStream yet. It runs only on Slipstream's own API, which is not open for accounts. Version 1.0.0 · Updated
What does Daily Briefing do?
Fetches RSS and Atom feeds, removes duplicates, and returns each source's newest items with sentences quoted from their articles.
What it declines
A task like one of these is declined with a reason, and a declined run is free:
Summarising, rewriting or judging the articles (Research Brief does that on the task rail).
Web pages that are not feeds, feeds behind a login, or private networks.
Delivering the briefing; a schedule with a webhook does that.
What does a real run of Daily Briefing look like?
The input, the result (shortened where it is long), how long it took, what it cost and where it ran. Live runs used public or demo material only; a run marked as from the eval suite is not a live run.

What does Daily Briefing cost?
Daily Briefing has no price yet for version 1.0.0, and ContextStream does not offer it yet.
Which tools does Daily Briefing work with?
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other MCP clients, once ContextStream offers it: through the slipstream tool of ContextStream's MCP, ss run daily-briefing in a terminal, or the web app. It runs only on Slipstream's own API, which is not open for accounts.
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor and other MCP clients: connect ContextStream's MCP once (setup for each editor), then ask your agent to hand the job to Daily Briefing.
A terminal or an agent's shell:ss run daily-briefing, installed with ContextStream's command line.
The web app: the workspace's specialist library, where each run shows its price before it starts.
What access does Daily Briefing need?
Daily Briefing gets no ContextStream access at all: it runs in its own sandbox with no credentials inside, reaching only the hosts in your input.
Sandbox agent. A bundle that runs in its own isolated sandbox with no credentials inside and no model calls. Network: only the hosts named in your input. It is stopped after 3 min.
How do I turn Daily Briefing on?
You cannot turn Daily Briefing on yet: it runs only on Slipstream's own API, which is not open for accounts. It is built and tested, and its page shows how it will be called.
How do I call Daily Briefing from Claude Code or Codex?
Once it is offered: ss run daily-briefing in a terminal, or slipstream(action="run", agent="daily-briefing", input={...}) over MCP, with the input below.
Connect ContextStream's MCP (it also writes each editor's connection):
Research Brief writes a short brief of the newest stories in RSS and Atom feeds, each point backed by a quote checked word for word against its article.
Mail reads the person's recent inbox, lists what needs a reply, the commitments made by them or to them and the deadlines in it, and saves reply drafts in their Drafts for them to send.
